Was down at Bondi Beach this afternoon. By chance yachts from the Sydney to Hobart race were going past not that far out to sea.
Managed to get some shots at about 2 PM. Not great quality. But they give you a sense of what it was like.
As you can see there were many people on the headlands looking out. They would have had an excellent view.
What I found surprising was how many other boats were still with the yachts. There were also a few helicopters buzzing about.
Glad I saw what I did because it was pretty exciting, even from such a distance.
