Sydney continues to grow apace, so there are many new high rises going up, particularly in the west of the city. Usually everything gets leveled to make way for the gleaming new apartment blocks. But sometimes older buildings remain.

There's a good example of this in the McGill Street precinct near the Lewisham West light rail station. There's an old dry cleaner and laundry service there that I assume is now closed for good. Maybe it's slated for demolition but it was there last time I looked.

It has a striking mural on it. Being so colourful, it really stands out against all the massive grey, white and black buildings.
