Newtown is one of the best suburbs in Sydney for street art. There's a lot of it and it's of a generally high standard. This work titled Lost Icons is a good example.
It depicts about twenty pop culture luminaries who are now no longer with us. These include Carrie Fisher, Heath Ledger, Leonard Nimoy (Spock) and Christopher Reeve.
Looking at it, realized I could identify most of the stars shown and that the majority were American. Yet I've lived in Australia all my life!
